Last summer a few of us got together with the great folks over at Assembly, an awesome production company based in nearby Manayunk, to shoot a quick scene for a project they were working on. The final project hasn’t come out yet, but they recently put together an awesome little promo for us from the footage we got that night. Take a look! (They wrote about the project on their blog over here.)

Last weekend we had some time to play around with a collaboration initiated by Lauren Raske, a fellow Philly fire spinner. We were also joined by Lauren’s frequent performance partner, Liana Cameris. We grabbed some footage with a few iPhones and a gopro, check out the video below.
The song used is by the ever talented Gina Ferrera, remixed by Michael NightTime, and can be downloaded here.
The summer has been a whirl wind. We had fun down at the shore with ARTLantic, playing with some new non-fire props. We lit up the stage on two nights at PEX Summer fest, and hung out on Broad Street with theatre goers, giving them a different kind of show. We palled around with my favorite bartender in town, who finally got to see why I sometimes show up for a pint in the strangest post-show ensembles. (Full stage make-up and regular clothes? Why not, haha.) Some good friends came by and grabbed some great photos, and we’re working with folks we met at our shows to book some upcoming gigs. Not a bad summer. Not bad at all.
While we were putting our recent promo together, we realized we had enough coverage to cut together a whole performance! We shot this on a rooftop on the edge of Fishtown, in Philadelphia, right at sunset. (Thanks to VJ Kevlar for the roof access!) The song is a remix of Flight Facilities – Crave You, from one of our performance mixes by the lovely Foxy La Tigre. The video was directed by Chris Palo. Enjoy!
Our new performance demo is up! We worked with Chris Palo who directed the project, and a great team from Drexel, led by Chip Murphy. It was a whirlwind day, with multiple locations and costume changes, but a lot of fun. We shot on a RED Epic-X and a Black Magic Cinema Camera, and wow do those images look great! Thanks to our locations, Liberty Lands Park, VJ Kevlar and Sharktown. Music is pulled from some of the lovely Foxy La Tigre’s mixes and Matt X. Check out the video, and let us know what you think! Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this video happen.
