What a busy summer it has been!

The summer has been a whirl wind. We had fun down at the shore with ARTLantic, playing with some new non-fire props. We lit up the stage on two nights at PEX Summer fest, and hung out on Broad Street with theatre goers, giving them a different kind of show. We palled around with my favorite bartender in town, who finally got to see why I sometimes show up for a pint in the strangest post-show ensembles. (Full stage make-up and regular clothes? Why not, haha.) Some good friends came by and grabbed some great photos, and we’re working with folks we met at our shows to book some upcoming gigs. Not a bad summer. Not bad at all.

Fringe in Philadelphia!

Its Fringe Fest time in Philadelphia! We’re excited to be participating this year at a fundraiser/awareness event for the new Reading Viaduct Rail Park. We’ll be spinning fire around 9:00pm as part of the after party. It sounds like it is going to be a pretty fun event. Come on by!! The whole after-party will be 7:30-11pm. Tickets can be bought here, $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Fun bonus video!

While we were putting our recent promo together, we realized we had enough coverage to cut together a whole performance! We shot this on a rooftop on the edge of Fishtown, in Philadelphia, right at sunset. (Thanks to VJ Kevlar for the roof access!) The song is a remix of Flight Facilities – Crave You, from one of our performance mixes by the lovely Foxy La Tigre. The video was directed by Chris Palo. Enjoy!

Spinning fire on Broad Street

What fun!! The First Friday event at the Philadelphia Theatre Company last night was great. Such a good crowd. Two of our Luxie Ladies couldn’t make it at the last minute, and good friends of Lux Arati, Terry and Vinny, helped us entertain the crowd. I love performing with guest spinners! I’m sure photos will pop up over the next few days, but here are a few quick cell phone shots (from Chris Palo and S.K. Hotspot) to hold you over:

Can’t wait for the next event!
