We love the Philly Rail Park project! It’s been awesome to be involved with their fundraising events over the years, and their latest event at Brick and Mortar was super fun. The weather was beautiful, the crowd fun and the space was awesome. Geri’s man Marc helped us out by taking some photos, so glad we’ve got friends who help us document our shows. Thanks to Michael Garden for bringing us to your fundraiser, we hope we got the guests to donate lots and lots of money!
We can’t thank everyone who came out to our very first fundraising event enough. We had such beautiful weather and such wonderful people! Not to mention some amazing photos… thank you so much to both Redlite Photos and The Color Crew for sharing your images with us. Make sure to go like their facebook pages (here and here) and check out some of their other work!
Of course also huge thanks goes out to a group of our favorite fans, the whole Krampuslauf family. From helping us get the park to sending kids around on stilts to busk in the dark, we really couldn’t do it without you. We can’t wait for Krampus on the 12th!!! Oh! And if you didn’t pick up a shirt and you’ve been regretting it ever since (I know I would be!) you can get one from our ‘shop’. It isn’t a very fancy set-up, and if you’d like more than one you’ll have to message us so we can combine shopping, but check it out!
After a good amount of Holiday Crazy all around, we’re finally tracking down some photos from a few of the events that we’ve done in the past few weeks. We got some great ones today from the Rail Park event we did at Union Transfer, taken by Paul Gargagliano, www.paulgphotog.com. Check them out! We did a bit of dancing inside to start out the night, in an attempt to pied-piper the crowd into the second room… it took a few circulations (folks were just arriving and wanted to make sure they got a drink before the event started!) but eventually everyone settled in for the fashion show. Then we spun some fire outside the venue, entertaining the folks in line. It was a great event, we love supporting the Rail Park!
I’m a little late in posting this, but we were waiting on our fire permit and it just came through this morning…. We’re super psyched to be part of another event for the Rail Park, this time at Union Transfer! Grid Philly has a nice write-up about the event here, and you can buy tickets to the event on the Rail Park’s page here.
We’ll be doing some inside dancing for the cocktail party, then spinning fire outside. Fingers crossed that the beautiful weather from today keeps up!
Members of Lux Arati will be performing THIS SATURDAY, the 6th, at a fundraiser for Frank’s Kitchens. We here at Lux Arati ❤ Frank’s Kitchens, particularly Alex Schuetz, one of our ever present and always patient safties (and husband to our lovely Xtina). So head on out and support him and his pals! And catch some fire spinning!
